This is Highland Terrace Elementary School's original design. The cost of the school was projected to be $500,000 of federal funds.	Highland Terrace School was the 17th school to open in Shoreline. It opened on September 2, 1958 with construction costs of $450,000.	A hand-drawn floor plan for the first Highland Terrace school. This diagram appeared in the program for the opening dedication of the building in 1958.
