The book I read is Ramona Forever. This book is about a girl named Ramona Quimby that has a friend named howie. Howie's uncle come's into town and he is really strange. For instance, he bring's present's like a pogo stick. While, Howie's uncle is in town Ramona's aunt come's into town and tell's the family that she is getting married. She also tell's the family she is getting married to Howie's uncle. Ramona does not like howie's uncle at all and is really scared!!! Find out what Ramona is going to feel.The book is by Beverly Cleary and the lexile is 810. My name is ashleigh in room 20 and I loved this book!!!!!!!!
The Palace of Laughter by John Berkeley is an adventure fantasy book. The main characters are Little, a song angel, and Miles, a homeless boy. Miles and Little are in search of the Palace of Laughter. The Palace of Laughter is a hill carved out to make a clowns head. Miles and Little tried to go in the door to the Palace of Laughter but it was locked. When they went around the side of the Palace of Laughter they looked up and there were bats started to come out of the ear. So they knew that it must be a cave or something similar. So they climbed up the side of the clowns head and into the ear. This is one of the best parts of the book.
My favorite part is the scene with Lady Partridge as she burst through the door of the Palace of Laughter. As she walked down the hall, all of a sudden cats started following Lady Partridge. She stepped over this guy that was howling laughing. This scene is so funny. Little is my favorite character. Little fell out of Heaven as she was following a storm angel named Silver Point. The reason Little is my favorite character is because I think that it would be very very cool to have an angel as a friend. This book is very exciting and dramatic. This is probably one of the best book I have ever read. I rate it a 10. Dakota room 20
I read a book called The Legend of Spud Murphy by Colfer, Eoin. The main characters are Spud Murphy the librarian, William the older brother, Marty the younger brother. The main place is at the library. The brothers have to go to the library until 4:00 when their mom picks them up. They didn’t want to go to the library because there is a mean and nasty librarian. When they get to the library the librarian said that they need to stay on a carpet. The carpet is where the baby books are. One day they get to the library and they had already read all the books there. So he told his brother to go and get him a book. Spud Murphy caught a book out of place so she now it was one of the boys. It was Marty, then she gave him a blue card where he can go anywhere in the library. William can’t go anywhere only on the carpet. My favorite part is when she gave Marty a blue card and not William. I like Spud because she acts like a good old lady with the parents and a mean one with kids. I recommend this book because it is a rally funny book and the kids act like they are in jail at the library. People that like to really laugh with like this book.

I am reading a book called “The Day Joanie Frankenhauser Became a Boy” by Francess Lin Lantz. The main character is a interesting girl named Joanie. Joanie is a girl who wants to play football with the guys but her parents won't let her because she's a girl. Joanie moves and her teacher mistakes her name from Joanie to John. She wants to correct her but then wonders what will happen if she is a boy and her journey to become a boy begins. My favorite scene in the book is when she starts writing stories in her journal about Super kid. My favorite character is her friend Casey. Casey is a boy that is very nice and a great friend. I would recommend this book because it is very funny and you never know when her secret might be revealed.

Jack and Annie needed to find the riddle and give it to Morgan – Le – Fay. Jack and Annie go into a book. The book is called “Artic.” When they got there Jack and Annie saw a seal hunter. The seal hunter gave those mittens, a coat, and boots. The seal hunter killed the seals’ to make them. When they played with polar bears’ Jack and Annie got trapped on thin ice. When they found what they needed which is the polar bear mask. Jack and Annie go back home shivering. They gave Morgan-Le-Fay. Jack and Annie went back to their rooms and rested.

I love the book Jungle Dogs. It was kind of boring in the first part but it made me read more in the middle part because it was getting exciting. The book is about a boy named Boy. He is very afraid of the jungle dogs. Boys brother named Damon is not afraid of everything because he is the leader of his gangs. Boy is not one of Damons gangs because Damon thinks he is a sissy boy. Next morning, when boy went to his school, he had a enemy named Galiothia who once beat up Boy then Damon saw Galiothia beating his brother, Boy, so Damon got mad that he started beating Galiothia up. Damon aways looks out for Boy even when Boy didn't like that. Damon wants to fight because wants to win a battle. So Boy has to proof that Damon doesn't have to fight to win a battle. If you read it, you will be excited like me. I'll rate this book 4 out of 5. George, Room 22.
I read a book called The School Story. This book is about a girl named Natalie, and her best friend Zoe. Natalie wrote a book no one knows about, because she is a secret author they call Cassandra Day. Natalie struggled along the way of writing her book. She doesn't give up because Zoe is always there to help her along the way. Since Natalie's mom is a publisher, the girls try their best to convince her to publish Cassandra Day's book. This book takes them on many adventures as the mistery continues. To find out more, you'll have to read this great book. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this book an 8. I recommend to people who like adventure, that this is a good book to read! Carolyn, 22
A Week In The Woods By Andrew Clements is about a boy named Mark Chelmsley who attends all private schools, and lives in Scarsdale. When his family has to move, he goes to a regular school in New Hampshire. His Teacher Mr. Maxwell hosts a yearly “week in the woods” for the 6th Graders. Finally at the camp, Mark wonders off when they all go hiking and gets himself lost. Mr. Maxwell goes off looking for him unprepared for anything that is ahead. Mr.Maxwell breaks his ankle and is in trouble, but early the next morning Mr. Maxwell finds Mark. Mark and Mr. Maxwell find the campsite together. Mark’s parents finally listen to him when they get home. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5.

This story “The Mysterious Island" is about 3 kids going to the world of Droon. Eric, Julie, and Neal saw a princess named Keeah. They had super powers. They needed the Red Eye of Dawn to destroy Lord Sparr, to get a sorcerer Keeah’s dad named, Galen. Neal got zapped by one of Keeah’s spells and got changed into a hairy black beetle. When Keeah got the Red Eye of Dawn she went where Lord Sparr was. Galen told her not to us it because she will might get destroyed. When Eric, Julie, and Neal left Droon they had lunch and played soccer. I rate would this book 2 out of 5. Arinze E

The book Mr.Popper's penguins is a good book because I like the chartacter and the hard thing their family went threw. The main chatacter is Mr.Popper and his penguins. He loved to read this book called Admiring Drake.He lived in the south pole and learned about penguins and there interests.So Mr.Popper gave admiring Drake a letter then five days later he got a penguin from Admiring Drake the penguin was a girl so she lade eggs. So they thought what are they going to do with the cold side of the refrigater because the penguins like the cold places.And thier family had to fish for them because they like fish.And Mr.Popper work as a house painter. And he got paid a month only. So what should they do? You should read the book to learn more.

I read the book, Searching for Candlestick Park, by Peg Kehret. This book is about a boy named Spencer who's Dad left him and his mother, when we was a little boy. Him and his mother live in a rented house in Seattle, and his mother can't pay the rent, so in the middle of the night, they pack up everything and move to Spencer's Aunt May's house. There, one of his little cousins, Cissy, has allergies, so his Aunt won't let him keep his cat named Foxey. He will never give up Foxey, so he decides to go in search of his father. Going from Seattle to Candlestick Park in California isn't an easy thing to do. He puts Foxey in an old shoe box, and ties it up with clothesline. He brings about $20.00, a notebook and pencil, and some food. He goes through hard obstacles and has no choice but to do some bad things if he wants to make it to Candlestick Park. I would highly recommend this book to people who love adventure books, and to people who love a suspenseful page turner that'll keep you up, wondering what will happen next. Will he make it to Candlestick Park? Or will he not? On a scale of 1-5 I would rate this book a 5.

Even though Clifton village isn’t real, I still love the book Running out of time by Margaret Peterson Haddix. A disease called Diphtheria strikes and Jessie’s parents are acting unusual. Suddenly her mother tells all of what they have been hiding. Clifton is a tourist site and the outside real world it is 1996. Jessie leaves on a life-changing journey that could mean life or death. Jessie must save the children of Clifton before it’s to late. Does Jessie save the children of Clifton and get home safely? I’d rate this book a four and a half out of 5 because it was fantastic but it has a little room for improvement.

What if you found out that you were not living in the past, but the future?I love this book Running out of TIme by Margaret Peterson Haddix. In this story, about a girl named Jessie finds out that she isn’t living in the 1840’s, but she is really living in 1996. Diphtheria is striking Jessie’s village, the children start dying. Jessie’s mother sends Jessie on an adventure to the outside world of 1996 to find a cure for Diphtheria. Jessie’s mother tells that Mr. Needle would help her, but instead, Mr. Needley tries to kill Jessie. Jessie runs away. Finally, Jessie finds the cure for her village. Mr. Needly goes to jail, but released because he was only doing a science experiment that would help the people of the future. I would rate this story a 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this story to people who like adventure books.

“The Littles to the Rescue” is a fabulous book. The Littles are tiny people with tails! They are about 6 or 4 inches tall. They are going to have a baby and they are going to need a nurse named Aunt Lily. But Aunt Lily got lost and the ground tinyes have captured her. I recommend this book to people that like fantasy stories. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

Hatchet by Gary Paulson is a great adventure book. A thirteen year old boy named Brian was on an airplane but something terrible happens to the pilot. The plane crashes and he gets stranded on a unknown island. He has to eat berries and take many risks to survive. He has to swim out to the sunken plane to get his survival pack. Read this fabulous book to find out more. Out of 5 stars I give this book a 5. Also Hatchet by Gary Paulson has 4 sequels.

If she is found, she might end up in an in orphanage or worse, jail. Will Rachel be found out or will she live the life of Valerie forever? This story takes place in historical time and is an adventure! I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars because the beginning is a little boring.

I read the book, The Palace of Laughter, by John Berkley. This book is about a boy named Miles, who has never been to a circus before, but has circus in his blood. One night he sneaked into the Circus Oscuro, and in one act, a little girl, no more then 5 or 6 years old, falls from a tumbling tower, and something magical happens that changed Miles life forever. The girl is tied up and put in a wagon, and Miles, being the brave person that he his, freed the little girl. The girl, named Little, told Miles that her friend has been captured and taken to the Palace of Laughter. Miles and Little go on an adventure to save Little's friend. Oh, and did I mention that Little is an Angel? After a few days of traveling to the Palace, Miles and Little figure out that the Palace of Laughter, is no ordinary circus. The Great Cordato, and his “trusted” sidekick, Genghis, have been hypnotizing people for a long time, and sucking the laughter out of them. After the show, the give the audience Dr. Tau Tau's Tonic, that restores the laughter for a few hours, then leaves the audience craving more. Meanwhile, Miles has been punched my Genghis, half-shaved by half-heads, and attacked my the Null. I would highly recommend this book to people who love interesting, fiction stories, and feel like there's nothing for powerful than friendship and family. My favorite scene is when Little, a Song Fairy, sings her name to save Miles from being strangled my the Null, and she knows that she can neer go back to the realm again. On a scale from 1-5, I would rate this book a 5. (I would rate it 10,000,000, but I can't go that far.)

I read a book called Double Identity by Margreat Peterson haddix and it is a great book. This book is about a girl named Beathany and she has a sister that died before she was born. She has to go live with her Aunt because she can not live with her parents. At the end everything becomes good but every time you read a different chapter something new will happen. I would rate this book a 10 beacuse it is very good. I reccommend this book to people who like adventure books. My name is ashleigh in room 20 and I hope you enjoy this book!!!!!

The Blue Lotus by Herge’ is the best adventurous book in the world! The main character, Tintin starts off in India. One day a guy wanted to see Tintin but he gets hit by a arrow dipped in The Poison of Madness. Then Tintin goes to China. He stops someone before he hits a china man. In the middle of the book these guys try to kill Tintin, but always fails. At the end Tintin is about to die, but before that he made a friend and that friend helps him. They also find the lost Blue Lotus. I recommend this book and rate it a 5!

“Listening for Lions” is an adventurous story written by Gloria Whelan. I would give it a 5. This story is about a 12-year-old girl living in Africa whose parents died from a influenza. Her parents were adopted. Her father worked as a doctor. And her mother worked as a teacher. Rachel had to impersonate a girl who also died from influenza and did not like Africa. Rachel had to go to the house of the girl’s grandpa in England. Will she have to pretend to be Valerie forever? Or will she get to be Rachel again?

Brian’s Return
Brian’s Return, the second sequel to Hatchet is outstanding book by Gary Paulson. In the beginning Brian is in the city. He can’t live in the city any longer because he became used to the wild in hatchet and the commotion and noise in the city is bugging him. So he takes his hatchet, knife, canoe and bow and arrows and goes camping. He gets caught in a storm and meets a man named Billy at his campsite. At night he disappears. I recommend this adventure book a five star.

I read the book, "Warriors: Into The Wild." Its a good book about a cat named Rusty who lives beside a forest. He starts feeling restless because of his dreams, and decides to go into the forest and explore a little bit. But he finds a cat named Graypaw. Graypaw tried to attack him, then two cats named Bluestar and Lionheart show up. They are from what they call the ThunderClan, which is one of four Clans of wild cats. Rusty is asked to join their clan, and he does. The old "kittypet" Rusty turns into Firepaw, and learns the adventurous and dangerous life of a ThunderClan cat.
I rate this, on a scale of 1 to 5, a 5.

I read the book, Kingdome Keepers, by Ridley Pearson. This book is about 5 kids, who are chosen to become DHI’s, Disney Host Interactive’s. The “imagineers” who work at MGM studios, have them read scripts, and do all sorts of motions, then turn them into holograms. But in this process, there are weird things that go on. Every night, when the kids go to sleep, they wake up in Disney World, as a DHI. But not only are they chosen to be DHI’s, they’re chosen to stop evil, from taking over the Disney Parks, and possibly outside of them. The kids go on some wacky adventures, experience some strange feelings, find the most odd things to save the parks, and have some mishaps on the rides. My favorite part is at the end, when there is a Halloween party at Disney world, and all the kids have to stop Maleficent, the witch from Sleeping Beauty, and her daughter Jaz, from taking over Disney World right then and there. If I could rate this book on a scale of 1-5, I’d choose 5. This book is perfect for people who love humor, adventure, and who love the Disney Parks. This is a well written book and I guarantee that if you read it, you’ll love it.
The book was so cool. I liked it. It was about how Peter became a forever kid. And it is about how they got there. And the book is great that I am reading the second one. I Love it.
Peter and the Secret of Rundoon

This book is the 3rd in the Starcatcher series, based on the Disney classic, Peter Pan. When Molly Asters' father, Leonard, has to go to a meeting with other Starcatchers from around the world, Molly and her friend George decide to help. They lie, sneak onto trains and ships, and get into some major trouble with “Your Highness King Zarboff the Third”, and a shadow thief. This is a book for people who like the old Disney classics, and who think that fantasy , including flying boys, flying ships, stars that fall form the sky, and of course, little fairies that go by the name of Tinker Bell. My favorite part is when Peter tries to stop a rocket that will interfere with space, and end the world, with a monkey screeching in his ear, an unbearable cold, and Tinker Bell chiming in his ear. On a scale of 1-5, this book is a 5. I love the amount of fantasy and adventure the author put into this book.

The book I read is The Lightning Thief by Rick Rordan. The main character is Percy, Annabeth and Grover. My favorite character is Grover because he is brave, smart and likes help people and takes orders from the ruler of camp half blood. The story takes place in New York, Las Vegas and Californian. This story is about a kid name Percy Jackson that lives in New York but he goes to a boarding school and got kicked out because he had to many fight in the year because he was helping a friend. So now he lives with his mother and Stinky Gabe, that's his step dad because his dad was lost at see well that's what his mother told him. Percy, mom and Grover went camping then his mother got killed by a minotaur and Grover sent him to Camp Half Blood that's when your half Greek god and half human or you were raised by two Greek God but you ran away from home. Then he finds out that he is half Greek God and his dad is the God of all water, seas, rivers and oceans. Then has to help his dad find the bolt because his Uncle thinks his brother stole the bolt and if he doesn't find it there's going to be a world war three. I love this book and you should read it. I give this book a 10 out of 10.

The book I read is called Tom True Heart . And the book is very amazing that one night I was reading and I fell asleep . When I woke up the book was on my head. And the book is about tom and his brothers. His brothers are adventurers and they are in the land of stories. And their dad was a brave adventurer and when he goes to finish the story he gets lost and only the true hearts are the only ones who can pass the gate. So when the brothers go to search they get lost to. And their brother's birthdays was the day he went. And he finds a talking crow he becomes to be his father . And I enjoyed the book by when they go to the secret chamber. My favorite person on the book was Tom. Becouse that he is only a child and he is the main person I rated it 4 out of 5. The book I read is the sea of monsters by Rick Riodan. This book is about a boy Called Percy on a quest to save his friend Grover and Camp Half Blood. This book takes place in New york, Florida and the sea of monsters. The main characters are Greek Gods, Percy, Anabeth, Grover, and Tyson. My favorite character is Rainbow the hippocampus. He was cute when he wanted to play with Tyson. He played some tricks on Tyson, like loops and stunts. My favorite scene is when Percy plays dodge ball with human eating Cannibls and Tyson caches the fired ball. Because there are a lot of action in that scene. I enjoyed this book, because there are a lot of fighting scene.

My favorite part in the story is when Percy goes to his Uncle and tells his Uncle to give him back the bolt. This story is about a kid name Percy Jackson that has to gets his Uncle’s bolt before theirs a WORLD WAR 3 with the Greek Gods. Then Percy finds out this information when he went to Camp Half blood. Hats when your parents are half god and half and half human or you are fully a god then you ran away from home. Percy now his to get the bolt and find the person that try to frame him. I recommend this book to people that like adventure. This book is about Greek Myths. I give this book 10 out of 10 because I love adventure and it’s really good to.

A Year Down Yonder

This book is the sequel to the Newbery-honor award-winning book A Long Way From Chicago. It’s about Mary-Alice, who goes to live with her insane Grandma Dowdel. While her big brother Joey is off at war, she has to deal with living in her Grandma’s house, where she doesn’t know what’ll happen, and she has to deal with a “popular” girl, a cute guy, a bully, and a tornado. It is a humorous book and I would recommend it to people who like to read books that make you laugh. My favorite part when Mary Alice makes fake valentines, one from Royce McNabb, to make Carleen, the “popular” girl, jealous. On a scale from 1-5, I’d rate this book a 5. It was funny, and a really quick read.
