Mrs. Heinze 2nd grade

The bat's heads looked like rats. In the illustrations, the bats really blended into the pictures of the stories they were reading. The bats always scattered around. I liked how the mom was carrying her baby bat with a vest on. I liked it when they made the shadows on the wall. I liked it when they were hanging upside down.

I like how the words rhymed and were unique and how the illustrations were upside down. I like the part where she made the colors real and the words sound like the pictures. I liked it when they went to the library. I like how their toes were very little.

Miss Woodward 2nd grade

I liked all the pictures. I liked that they used pictures from classic fairy tales. I liked how it was like a poem. I like how on the first page the bats were right side up and the house was upside down. I liked how they used a lot of details in the pictures.
