I read No Talking by Andrew Clements. This book is about all the elementary school fifth graders. The boy’s captain challenged the girl’s captain to a no talking contest. There are a group of boys that are called the unshushables. Also all the teachers and the principle try to talk to the whole fifth grade. But the fifth graders don’t listen to them and keep on doing the contest. Then the boy’s captain and the girl’s captain get into their own little secret contest. Then if the boy’s captain wins then he gets to but a big L on the girls captains forehead. Then later in the book the principle yells into the boys captain face. After she was done talking he yelled at the principle. Now one of the teachers told the boys captain to go to the principal’s office. Then the boy’s captain asks the principle to join and she does join the girl’s team.
