I read a book called Peak. It is by a great author, Roland Smith. It is about a fourteen year old boy, named Peak, who is very adventurous and has a goal to reach the top of Mt. Everest. Along the way, he meets another climber whose name is Sun-jo. Sun-jo is Peak’s age and lives in Nepal. This is an outrageous book if you like books about mountain climbing. I read this book because I do like books about mountain climbing. My favorite part is when they are at the summit and the see the flags at the tip of the Mountain. Peak is a month or two younger than Sun-jo so they both want to be the youngest to ever reach the top of Mt. Everest. The ending has kind of an unexpected twist to it. If you like books with unexpected endings this is the book for you. I totally recommend this book to you; personally, I give it five out of five stars.
