My Personal Heroine

Do you have a personal heroine/hero? Mrs. Beard has always been mine for many important reasons.
First, Mrs. Beard is a great role model. From first grade, when I had a reading buddy, Bennett, I loved the way Mrs. Beard interacted with him. She is the kind of person I would want to be when I grow up.
Second, she is a great teacher. She explains everything well. I always go back to my desk knowing what to do. She has inspired me to want to be a teacher.
Next, Mrs. Beard is cheerful. When our class is sad, Mrs. Beard always cheers us up. One day, she did the splits in front of the class because we were glum!
Most importantly, she cares about every student. She is patient with those students that need extra help. She makes time for each one of us.
In conclusion, Mrs. Beard is my heroine and a wonderful teacher.
