Performing Arts After School Opportunities

Briarcrest Singers

“Briarcrest Singers” is open to all 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grade students. We will practice all year long on Thursdays from 3-4PM. Performances will be December 17^th, April 14th and at the Volunteer Tea in May (TBA). Additional performances will be announced through year in the school newsletter and through the “Choir Alert” Bulletins.

  

Aladdin (School Musical)

Select 5^th and 6^th grade students will participate in this after school class. It will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3-4PM Second beginning in November. Performances will be February 13^th at 7PM, & February 14th at 4:30 & 7PM at the Shorecrest Theatre.

 

Talent Show

This fun activity is open to all students K-6 who prepare a talent and audition for a place in the show. Singers, Dancers, Poets, Martial Artists, Instrumentalists, Tumblers, Gymnasts, Actors and Comedians as well as students with other “well rehearsed” talents are all encouraged to audition. Auditions will be Monday May 8^th, with rehearsals on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3-4PM. On June 1^st we will have an assembly performance and an evening performance at 7PM.
