Personification:

The sea speaks to the moons reflection.
Night teaches me that first glances can be deceiving.
A cloud dances across the sky.
Sky tells me that tomorrow will bring a new dawn.
Stars, guide me to my destiny.

Walking through the gates of despair,
Into a sea of memories.
Biting my lip to keep away tears,
Whatever happened to all of the years?

You left me alone, on the treadmill of time,
