A Spring Morning

The sun dances on the horizon
The sky looks down on the new morning
The mountain listens to spring’s song
The sea dreams of storm less nights
The stone remembers a day like this long, long ago
-Meg Turner

These are the lyrics to a song I made up. See if you can figure

out what it is about. The answer is at the end of the lyrics.

to the tune of "Against the Grain" by Garth brooks

Striking

I walk in to the mansion,
Filled with noises of explosion,
This place is like a second home to me.
The air is filled with odor,
Because of the oil on the floor,
But the smell doesn’t matter to me.

You can’t hate standing on a shiny floor like that,
Ten figures sit, because of a sphere it is sat,
Four steps feel like flying on the ground,
Sixty feet away wood dances around.

Close my eyes when I release,
I beg, I hope, oh pretty please.
It curves, down around forty feet,
As I slowly retreat,
A crash as wood and stone collide,
Falling wood side by side.

Chorus

Behind me I hear shrieks of delight,
In result to my toss of might,
I open my eyes and all I see,
Is a lane that’s completely empty.

Chorus

While I walk back to sit,
Many hands do I hit,
More times this night,
Do I repeat this awing sight.

Chorus

This song is about bowling and getting a strike.
