Welcome to Einstein for our 2008-2009 School Year!

First day of school information! The first day of school will be on Tuesday, September 3rd. Seventh-grade students should plan to arrive at school some time before 8:30 AM. Eighth-grade students should plan to arrive at 12:45 PM. For more specific information about the day's schedule, click here.
New Family-Option Model for the Laptop Initiative! Based on parent and staff input received through the recent laptop survey the district is revising its policy regarding the laptop program to better accommodate the diverse preferences for laptop access. Families will now be able to choose between the following two options:
- students will check out a laptop for full 24/7 access with an agreeement to all fees and conditions set by the district and/or school, or
- to use school-housed laptops when teachers determine they are needed for classroom activities, plus agreeing to provide sufficient access to home technology for completion of school assignments, to check onlin grades and swift websites. Students who choose this option will be responsible for providing their own planner to organize assignments and due dates.

WEB Leaders get back to work in August! Web Leaders will be meeting here, at Einstein, on Monday August 25th and Tuesday, August 26th from 8:30AM to 1:30PM to get ready for the beginning of school.More information on Einstein Laptop Distribution will be available in August.
