In 2008, Highland Terrace was included in the Augmentative-Alternative Communication (AAC) Workshop funded by the Shoreline Foundation. The April and May classes were instructed by adults who use AAC devices to communicate and navigate in our community. Our guests included Scott Palm, Sharon and Alan King and Dr. Kristin Rytter.
