Occasionally, Highland Terrace Library resources are lost or damaged and must be replaced. Students and their families are responsible for replacing lost or damaged library resources at replacement cost. Mr. Kleyn will notify all students who have problems with lost or damaged library resources.

Students who do not solve problems with lost or damaged resources will not receive their report card. The report card will be held in the office until the the problem with a lost or damaged resource is solved.

Here are some options for replacement:

• Return the item undamaged (best option).
  
• Replace the item with an exact copy of the lost or damaged item.
  
• Pay for the item at replacement cost. All fines must be paid at the main office. If a lost resource is found within a year, the student's family will receive a refund for the paid fine.
