A child’s journey through Highland Terrace is carefully planned. Our school challenges students to reach their highest academic and personal potential in order to become respectful and responsible learners. Academic standards are supported by a well-balanced curriculum and state-of-the-art technology. We invite students to participate in a wide variety of activities ranging from student council to circus arts and marimba band to chess club.

We are proud of our beautiful school and grateful for the community support that sustains it.

Highland Terrace parents are active classroom and PTA volunteers, with hundreds of parents participating in school activities each year.

The school’s library area includes a computer lab, reading center, and a research and classwork area.

Highland Terrace's principal is Mike VanOrden.

The school was built in 1958 and completely remodeled in 1991. Our website features photos and a written history of our school.
