Robotix Contest:

Students from the Home Education Exchange Robotics class entered the Learning Curve's Classroom Robotix® Contest in November 2000. They won an Honorable Mention. Their entry was among the top nine in this national contest. Way to go engineers!

Contest's Main Objective: They had to use the Robotix System to design and build a mobile robot that could clear the northern lowlands of Mars in preparation for construction of a new community. In a timed event, they collected volcanic rock debris from the sandy terrain and deposited them in the designated canister. They also had to create a simulated Mars planetscape of the northern lowlands of Mars based on information they gather about the planet.
