First Grade Supply List

2009-2010

The following supplies will be needed by all first graders at Lake Forest Park on the first day of school.  Please buy the exact items listed. An important component of the program is having the materials for learning in the right place at the right time.  We ask parents to supplement the supplies provided by the school.  If the expense is a burden to you, please contact your child's teacher or the principal for other arrangements.  Parents can help their children by providing these tools for learning.

·      Pencils, 2 packages of (12) wooden, yellow #2 Dixon Ticonderoga

·      3 Sanford Magic Rub large erasers, (vinyl, latex free)

·      1 box of Crayola crayons (16-32 count)

·      1 box (8 set) WIDE TIP, washable Crayola markers, CLASSIC COLORS

·      1 box (8 set) FINE LINE SKINNY, washable Crayola markers, CLASSIC COLORS

·      2 Dixon Dry Erase markers, black, fine point

·      1 box (12 set) Crayola colored pencils

·      1 pair child-sized Fiskars scissors, pointed tips

·      1 box facial tissue, regular size

·      2 Peechee type folders, with pockets on the bottom ONLY, 12"x9"

·      3 containers Wet Ones, anti-bacterial wipes

·      1 box (50 ct) ziplock snack size bags

·      5 large glue sticks, Avery brand

·      1 backpack large enough to carry a peechee and library books

·      1 MEAD Primary Composition Book (see picture)
