Second Grade Supply List

2009-2010

The following supplies will be needed by all second graders at Lake Forest Park on the first day of school.  Please buy the exact items listed. An important component of the program is having the materials for learning in the right place at the right time.  We ask parents to supplement the supplies provided by the school.  If the expense is a burden to you, please contact your child's teacher or the principal for other arrangements.  Parents can help their children by providing these tools for learning.

·      1 back pack large enough to carry a peechee and library books

·      2 dozen Pencils, wooden, yellow #2 Dixon Ticonderoga

·      3 Sanford Magic Rub large erasers, (no vinyl)

·      1 box of Crayola crayons (16-32 count)

·      1 box WIDE TIP, washable Crayola markers, CLASSIC COLORS

·      1 box FINE TIP, washable Crayola markers, CLASSIC COLORS

·      1 box Crayola colored pencils (12 count)

·      1 pair child-sized Fiskars scissors, pointed tips

·      1 box facial tissue, regular size

·      2 Peechee type folders, with pockets on the bottom ONLY, 12"x9"

·      2 Overhead markers, black, fine point, vis-à-vis or vis-aid

·      1 MEAD Primary Composition Book, (see picture)

·      2 container Clorox antibacterial wipes

·      1 box (12 ct) ziplock bags, 2.5 gallon size

·      1 box Ziplock sandwich size bags

·      3 Avery brand large glue sticks

·      1 Dry Erase white board marker

·      1 pencil box, plastic, (roughly 8x5x2)
