Fourth Grade at LFP

 

Fourth Grade students at Lake Forest Park have a wide and varied, well-balanced curriculum.  Academic subjects include the study of Washington State, "Inventions, Water, Magnetism & Electricity," and "The Skeletal System."  "The Body Shop" provides lessons in wellness, including diet, good habits, and the development of positive self-esteem.  The "Everyday Learning" mathematics program provides a comprehensive year of study covering fractions, decimals, graphing, geometry, and more.  Reading and writing include a wide variety of forms, and emphasis is on critical analysis of reading and self-evaluation of writing.  In addition, students enjoy a rich program of art, music, and physical education.
