Dear MP Families,

We are excited to be able to offer a wide variety of before-and after-school activities for Meridian Park students.  This year we will have Three “Activity Seasons” which we refer to as Fall, Winter and Spring. We will also have some activities that run all year.  These “All Year” activities are offered throughout the seasons and have different start and end dates.  Each season, you will receive a catalogue listing all of the information about the activities being offered. Along with the catalogue, each child will receive blank permission slips to use for the activities that interest him/her. 

For Fall Season, all permission slips will be due ASAP.  It is really important that you turn in the permission slips on time in order for us to make accurate rosters for each club!  Extra permission slips will be available in the office if you need more.  We appreciate you filling out a separate permission slip for each activity your child would like to participate in.  Please fill it in completely!

Rosters will be created for each activity, and the complete list of rosters will be sent home soon.  The roster list will serve to confirm which activity or activities that your child is enrolled in.  If an activity has more students interested than space available, there will be a lottery to determine which students will be on the roster. 

Please note the information in the catalogue for activity locations, grade levels involved, and beginning/ending times.  It is also important to note that students who are not picked up on time from after school activities remain with the teacher after school hours.  If your child is picked up late more than one time, a reminder will happen.  The next time, s/he will not be able to participate in the activity.
