School Improvement Goals

2007-2008

 

READING: 80% of all PW students will meet standard for reading comprehension as measured by Kindergarten (re-telling) and DRA assessment (Gr. 1, 2) and SRI (Gr. 3-6). [fall, winter, spring]

  

MATH: 80% of students K-6 will meet grade level computational fluency targets as measured by building/district assessments. [December, March, June]

 

ARTS: PW teachers will each focus on at least one art form during the school year, helping to sustain the structure that we learned from Art Impact. Parkfest will be our showcase (Sat. June 7) to feature true integration of arts across the curriculum.

 

COMMUNITY/DIVERSITY: Continue to expand and enhance parent partnerships and outreach with all families, including outreach to families of diverse cultures and language groups.
