All-Day Kindergarten School Supply List for 2008-2009

 

All students need to bring the following items É

 

q   Backpack – One that is big enough to hold a folder (not a binder), several large picture books and paper that is 12Ó x 18Ó.  Please make sure your child is able to zip and unzip their backpack without assistance.  Please label the backpack with your childŐs name.

 

q   Plastic pencil box – 9Ó x 6Ó is a good size.  Please label the box with your childŐs name.

 

q   Crayola¨ Classic Markers – One box of 10, broad-line markers would be best.  No fine-line markers at school, please.  Label each marker with your childŐs name. Computer-generated labels or writing with permanent marker on tape works well.

 

q   Crayola¨ Crayons – One box of 16, regular-size crayons.  Label the box with your childŐs name.

 

q   2-Pocket Folders – Two folders will be needed.  Make sure the pockets are on the bottom, not the sides of the folders.  Label the front, top, right corner of each folder with your childŐs name.

 

q   Pink Pearl (Papermate¨) eraser – Do not label the eraser.

 

q   White glue sticks – 12, small, permanent glue sticks.  No goes-on-purple, dries-clear glue sticks, please.  Do not label glue sticks.

 

q   Stickers – One package of 100 or more mini-stickers of any design.  Do not label stickers.

 

 

If your childŐs last name begins with A-L, please also bring É

 

q   Kleenex¨ Tissues – One large box of 200 or more tissues.  Do not label the box.

 

q   Sharpie¨ Permanent Marker – Black, Ultra Fine or Extra Fine Point.  These will be used for outlining. Do not label the pen.

 

q   White copy paper – One, 500-sheet ream of 20# white paper.  Do not label.

 

 

If your childŐs last name begins with M-Z, please also bring É

 

q   Gel hand sanitizer – One 12-oz (or larger) bottle.  Do not label the bottle.

 

q   Highlighter pen – Any color will do.  Do not label the pen.

 

q   Colored copy paper – One, 500-sheet ream of 20# pastel colored paper.  Do not label.
