Introduction

Animals and plants on the earth live in many different environments.  Learning more about how they live in their particular environment and how changes to that environment can have consequences that are sometimes disastrous, will lead to a better understanding of that organism as well as its environment.  This webquest will allow students to choose from seven different investigations where they will learn about environmental biology.  Click on the Tasks link above to view each task.

The seven investigations include:

1.  Terrestrial environments

2.  Bugs and beetles

3.  Water tolerance,

4.  Aquatic environments

5.  Brine shrimp hatching

  1. 6. Salt of the earth.

  2. 7. Optional biome study
