Ronald Bog Remove blackberries and ivy along the shore just south of the pony statues. This is the kick off to remove the invasive plants and plant native trees and shrubs. We plan to continue working at the park and begin to plant in late October. Bring your friends and enjoy the pleasure of improving our park. |

Embrace Shorecrest Meet at the Front Entrance to Shorecrest. Bring work gloves and your favorite gardening tools. Be prepared to pull weeds, prune plants, lay cardboard and mulch the planting beds with wood chips, pressure wash, pick up trash and general grounds cleanup. |

Care to Shop Representative for Lifelong AIDS Alliance Hand out wish lists for Chicken Soup Brigade and ask shoppers to consider donating one or two food items to our cause. Rotating locations in the greater Seattle area. Care to Shop and the donations of non-perishables make a significant impact on the amount of funding we are able to spend on fresh produce. Because we serve clients living with suppressed immune systems and other chronic illnesses, fresh fruit and vegetables make a huge difference in their health. |

| Seattle Music Partners After-school music instruction to elementary and middle school students in low-income schools in the Central District. Come to one of 4 schools once a week to teach one-on-one instrumental music lessons to beginning musicians. No prior teaching experience is necessary. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get teaching/leadership experience, improve their own musicianship, and connect to their community. |
