Shorecrest spotlight highlights people in the community involved with community service

Students and staff helped the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation raise over $51,000 during the annual “Calling for Kids” Phonathon. The Foundation supports educational programs, creative teaching, and expanded learning opportunities for all students in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park schools

NEW STUDENTS

Students who enter Shorecrest after the first semester of their sophomore year have a reduced hour service requirement. It is ten hours less for every semester. Community service hours can be transferred from your previous school if verification is sent on your previous school's letterhead and completed after your freshman year. Time sheets and a reflection essay are due the student’s senior year in the Community Service Office (room A14) by April 30th in order to graduate. Status lists are posted outside the Community Service Office and Online. They are updated approximately every three weeks. It is the student’s responsibility to keep an accurate record of hours worked.
