Congratulations to Theresa Leigh, Shorecrest’s recipient of the “Service Above Self” award. The University District Rotary Club presents this annual award to high school juniors who have demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service. Theresa's long-term involvement with the Shoreline Family Support Center and LFP Municipal Courthouse shows a strong commitment to helping others.

SOPHOMORES & ENGLISH 10

Community Service is integrated into the English 10 curriculum, and comprises 10% of a student’s grade. In addition to written assignments, students are required to complete 30 of the 60 hours during his/her sophomore year. It is the student’s responsibility to keep an accurate record of hours worked.
