Research Paper FormatPaper:Use white, twenty-pound, 8.5 by 11 inch paper. Margins:The paper should have one inch margins - left side, right side, top, and bottom. Paragraphs should be indented one inch from the left margin (five spaces). Spacing:Everything is double- spaced including quotations, notes, and the list of works cited. Type:Use Times New Roman with a 12 font size and black type. Page Numbers:Number your pages with Roman Numerals consecutively throughout the paper (including the first page) in the upper right-hand corner of each page, one-half inch from top. Type your last name before the page number. Make sure there is a double space between the page number and the beginning of the text. Cover Page:The cover page specifies the name of the Secondary Research paper, the author, and the date. |
