Alternating biannually with our Medieval
Banquet, the Highland Arts Concert, held in the Spring,
presents the Pipe Band and Dancers in a more formal setting.
Taking advantage of Shorecrest's state-of-the-art performance
hall, the concert exposes spectators to the artistry involved
in Scottish music and dance.
The program consists of Scottish Highland and National
dances performed in a choreographed style on our spacious
theater stage. It inlcudes solo and ensemble performances
by our pipe band as well as special guest appearances by
accomplished Celtic musicians from the community.
The concert is also a fundraising event for the Pipe Band
and Dancers. Advertising space is available in our program,
donations are gladly accepted and SC Highland Arts merchandise
will be for sale in the lobby. We couldn't do it without
our supporters!
