Application for Boundary Exception: Students who currently reside in the Shoreline School District but not in the Shorecrest attendance area, who wish to attend Shorecrest must complete and return the "Application for Resident Attendance Boundary Exception." This form may be obtained from Jocelyn Hudson (206-361-4296) in the Shorecrest Counseling Department.
Students who currently reside outside the Shoreline Schools District and are not currently attending a Shoreline School must complete and return the "Application for Admission in Non-Resident District" and must get an Inter-District Release Form from their home school district. This form may be obtained from Jocelyn Hudson (206-361-4296) in the Shorecrest Counseling Department. All forms must be submitted to:
Shorecrest High School 15343 25th Ave NE Shoreline, WA 98155 Boundary Exception Acceptance: Acceptance is based on (1) building enrollment capacity; (2) program capacity; and (3) boundary exception expectations (see below). If your student requires special services in a particular program (i.e. Special Education, ESL, Alt Ed, etc.), notification of acceptance will be based on projected space availability in that program. Home High School: It is recommended that your student register for fall classes at your students home high school pending notification of enrollment at Shorecrest. Once you have received confirmation of enrollment at Shorecrest, our counseling office will notify your home district of your enrollment at Shorecrest.
Failure to meet the above expectations during the school year may result in revocation of the boundary exception status. The full text of the Shoreline School District Policy Regarding Boundary Exceptions can be viewed by going to the School Board Website and looking in the policy manual.
