Club Activities

Here is a list of possible labs and other activities offered by the Shorecrest Science Club. The choice of labs will vary from year to year, so if you have a favorite lab, or an idea for a lab, speak to a club officer.

Also, we are always looking for guest speakers to visit the club. Parents, family friends, mentors, or other adults involved in a science-related career are welcome. We have previously had guest speakers from the University of Washington and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) talk about the following subjects:

Electronic circuits
Elephant DNA research
Fisheries oceanography
Pyrotechnology (fireworks)
