Melvin G. Syre Elementary School is located in the Richmond Beach area of Shoreline, WA. We are located in the Northwest corner of the Shoreline School District and the City of Shoreline, just a few blocks south of the King/Snohomish County line.

Syre was built in 1964 and re-opened in 1991 after extensive remodeling. It is a very modern, up-to date facility housing a student population of approximately 520, K-6 students in regular and special education programs. We have an enthusiastic, dedicated staff. Parents are very supportive of the school. We have a large, enthusiastic and active PTA with quality leadership.
